Design Application
Points to consider when designing
Please refer to the following method to apply the Innergy Ondol design directly to your file!
Innergy Ondol Application
-
STEP 01 Finishing Material Selection
-
Final Finishing Height Innergy Ondol height 72mm + finishing material
Recommended Linoleum: 2~5mm | SPC flooring 6mm | Solid wood louver 10-18mm | Hinoki cypress louver 10mm
Consideration Finishing materials that use adhesives, such as tiles or engineered wood flooring, are not easy to repair
-
STEP 02 Wire Thickness (2.55sq or larger)
-
Power Cable Thickness: For safety, please use a power cable with a minimum thickness of 2.55sq when installing Innergy Ondol.
One Innergy Bar uses 0.1kW of constant power. Number of Innergy Bars(n) x 0.1kW = 0.nkWh
-
STEP 03 Thermostat
-
The thermostat we provide can control up to 220V 16A (amperes) per channel.
Thermostat Power Capacity: 220v X 16A = 3,520W
Innergy Bar Connection: 3,520W ÷ 100w = 35개
Theoretically, 35 Innergy Bars can be connected to one channel, but for safety reasons, we recommend connecting up to 10 units per channel. This is because electrical inrush current or surge current can momentarily increase the current up to about 5 times.
Most thermostats provided control 2 channels, allowing for 10 connections each.
-
STEP 04 Thermostat Location
-
The appropriate height for the thermostat location is about 50cm to 120cm from the floor.
When constructing a new building or remodeling, embedding the thermostat in the wall gives a cleaner appearance.
-
STEP 05 Harness
-
A harness refers to a device primarily used to organize and protect wires or cables.
To connect the Innergy Ondol, our company has manufactured safe harness cables, allowing for easy connection.
-
STEP 06 Floor Leveling
-
When installing Innergy Ondol, the floor must be leveled.
After pouring the concrete floor, level it with a finisher (machine plastering) finish.
